PamelaJoye.com was designed for a photographer specializing in home portraits and pets. She needed a site that displayed both these specialities and her artistry and serve as an evolving portfolio.
Equally important was that she be able to update the site regularly and without too much trouble each time she went out on a shoot.
Due to the varied and differing topics of the photographs, a unique site was needed in order to guide visitors to the three specific areas of the site.
The site was designed with a landing page to offer visitors three unique areas: two sections showcasing different areas of expertise and a third for the blog, that could be updated as many times as needed without the help of a web designer. Each area has its own self-contained menu, slide shows, product line, and portfolio.
Breadcrumbs allow the visitors to navigate back through the areas as well as to the main page. The site is also equipped with a Search Engine Friendly URLs, easily configured slide shows, and blogging capabilities. Because the site was designed on Content Management System (CMS) with it's own database, the content can be easily updated and managed by the owner of the site.
